About Guidon

In military formations, the guidon is more than a flag. It represents leadership, direction, and unity. Carried at the front of the formation by the guide, it establishes the direction of travel and serves as the point the team rallies around and follows.

As a veteran, that image has stayed with me throughout my professional career as well.

Growing companies rarely struggle because they lack ideas. They struggle because their marketing lacks clear direction, alignment, accountability, or the leadership needed to move strategy into execution.

That's where Guidon comes in.

We don't simply deliver recommendations and walk away. We step into leadership roles, align teams, establish the path forward, build momentum, and help organizations execute with confidence.

Successful growth doesn't happen by chance. It happens when people know where they're going and have someone capable of helping lead the way.

I've spent more than 20 years building marketing organizations, go-to-market strategies, demand generation programs, and partner ecosystems for global technology companies including:

Hewlett-Packard - Brocade - Extreme Networks - Ansys - Synopsys

But much of that career has also been spent working directly with smaller businesses and channel partners, and building marketing strategies focused on SMB markets.

That combination has given me a perspective from both sides — the strategic discipline, scale, and expectations of global technology organizations, along with a practical understanding of what growing businesses can accomplish with smaller teams, tighter budgets, and fewer resources.

I've seen what happens when marketing loses focus, teams move in different directions, and good strategies struggle to become results. I've also seen what happens when the right leadership brings those pieces back together.

That's the experience and perspective I bring to every Guidon engagement.
